Ultrapure Prep Kits

Ultrapure prep kits provide a simple and convenient method of purification of plasmid DNA and genomic DNA. The procedure is based on the selective binding of nucleic acids from crude extract to an anion exchange resin. DNA binds to the resin in a gravity flow column under appropriate salt concentration and pH while contaminants such as proteins, polysaccharides flow through. Impurities are further removed by a medium salt buffer wash. Finally DNA is eluted in a high salt buffer, desalted and concentrated by alcohol precipitation, reconstituted in Tris buffer or water.

Geneispin Prep Kits

Geneispin prep kits provide a rapid and reliable method of purification of plasmid and high molecular weight genomic DNA. Geneispin kits use silica gel/membrane in a convenient spin column format. Samples are lysed using optimal buffers mixed with alcohol and applied to the column. The nucleic acid specifically adsorb to the membrane or matrix under high salt conditions while contaminants flow through. Inhibitors are completely removed by an effective wash step and the pure nucleic acid is eluted in minimum volume of Tris buffer or water.

DNA Extraction Kits/Solution

DNA Extraction kits/solution contain complete, ready to use reagents for the isolation of genomic DNA from animal and plant origin. It is based on the use of the cell lysis solution that hydrolyses RNA, denatures the proteins and other contaminants allowing selective precipitation of DNA from the cell lysate. The isolated DNA can be used for many molecular biology applications.
