SINGLE TUBE WSSV DETECTION KIT
(Single Tube Nested PCR)

Genei's single tube nested PCR kit for White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) detection is based on innovative nonstop, single tube nested PCR technique. In this assay both the first and the nested PCR steps are performed within one PCR run in the same reaction vial.
The assay can indicate the degree of severity of infection. The kit can produce up to three PCR products according to the severity as below:
 

• Severe Infection (> 105 viral particles)- produces all 3 fragments (942, 525,&204 base pairs (bp)
• Moderate Infection (103 - 105 viral particles)- produces 2 fragments (525 & 204 bp)
• Low Infection (10-103 viral particles) - produces 1 fragment (204 bp)

• A single tube nested PCR reaction- Less chances of contamination
• Follows nested PCR principles - High sensitivity and specificity of virus detection
• Distinguishes the degree of severity of infection- Severe, Moderate and Low
• Detects up to 10 virus particles in 3.5 to 4 hours
